What to Expect: Chesterton
Join professional tour guide Jayde McAloon as she takes you on a walking tour of the quaint little town of Chesterton, Indiana. They may seem sleepy, but don’t be lulled…these cozy hamlets are buzzing with weird tales and strange sightings!
The Chesterton tour begins at the Duneland Chamber parking lot on Broadway in downtown Chesterton (where the European Market takes place on Saturdays). From there we’ll cross the street and walk down to Calumet, then over to Indiana Avenue and back up to Third Street. (Total distance is about nine blocks.) Jayde wears a headset so all can hear the stories.
Tour takes approximately 90 minutes and is appropriate for ages 12+.
What to Expect: Porter
The town of Porter has always been a little underappreciated. Believe us, they have their fair share of ghosts!
The tour begins at the corner of Lincoln and Wagner. From there we’ll walk down to Rankin, then over to Francis and back to Lincoln. (Total distance is about 11 blocks.) Jayde wears a headset so all can hear the stories.
Tour takes approximately 90 minutes and is appropriate for ages 12+.
